Rotaract Club of Spokane is proud to hose the 58th Annual Junior Lilac  Parade (JLP) May 9, 1009.  The JLP is Rotaract's largest community  service project and the club is honored to host the largest children's parade in the nation!
    JLP is a treasured long-standing Spokane Area tradition.  More than  8,000 middle and junior high school bands and children's organizations  compete in this parade each year and the parade attracts over 10,000  spectators to the downtown area.  It is a tremendous and exciting  community events and we want to invite you to take part this year!
    Proceeds from the parade t-shirts go towards the Rotaract's largest  community project, the Universal Playground, in Spokane's Mission  Park.  The project construction estimates $88,000, and approximately  95% of the total cost has been raised by Rotaract Spokane.
