The strategicrngoal of the SFD Foundation is to provide assistance for the SpokanernFire Department's support activities for the citizens and visitors ofrnthe City of Spokane. Primary funding for the SFD is provided throughrnlocal taxes, however budgets are ever-shrinking and often funding forrnnon-emergency programs are the victims. The Foundation provides anrnopportunity for resources that would otherwise be unmet within the SFDrnbudget.
