In 1997 Dogtown Company was born with the invention of the Power Leash. (Elastic leash that acts like a shock absorber and pull inhibitor). Kates' original plan was to sell products catering to performance bred dogs. That idea later expanded to a specialty store for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Custom leather collars and harnesses, insulated dog houses, show leads, weight-pulling equipment, clothing, specialty foods/supplements, and even professional grooming are some of the things you'll find at Dogtown Company.
