Rotaract Club of Spokane is proud to hose the 58th Annual Junior Lilac
Parade (JLP) May 9, 1009. The JLP is Rotaract's largest community
service project and the club is honored to host the largest children's parade in the nation!
JLP is a treasured long-standing Spokane Area tradition. More than
8,000 middle and junior high school bands and children's organizations
compete in this parade each year and the parade attracts over 10,000
spectators to the downtown area. It is a tremendous and exciting
community events and we want to invite you to take part this year!
Proceeds from the parade t-shirts go towards the Rotaract's largest
community project, the Universal Playground, in Spokane's Mission
Park. The project construction estimates $88,000, and approximately
95% of the total cost has been raised by Rotaract Spokane.
