 Point Loma High School Pointer Association The mission of the Point Loma High School Pointer Association (formerly the PLHSFAA) is to develope and provide resources for enhancing the educational environment of PLHS, to keep alumni connected to each other and the school, and to maximize interation between students, alumni, parents, staff and others who care about PLHS with a goal of building Pointer Pride for generations past, present, and future. The PLHS Pointer Association is designated by the school as its sole adult fundraising organization. In this role, we conduct fundraising activities and events to raise money to support capital compaigns and ongoing initiatives. We are also the umbrella organization for Booster Groups that raise funds and coordinate volunteer activities on behalf of the specific sports or activities. In support of our alumni, we maintain a database of all PLHS alumni so we can help them stay connected with their alma mater and classmates, and so that reunion chairs can find them with news of reunion events. We organize socail events for alumni and provide informational support to reunion committees. Website: www.pointerassociation.org
